TRIAL RECIPE
Ingredients:
- 8 cups raw pecan halves
- 4 tablespoons fresh orange juice
- 1 large egg white
- Zest of four oranges
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice
- 1/2 teaspoon cloves
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions:

Preheat oven to 250º. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Combine sugar, spices, and zest. Taste check

Combine pecans, juice, and egg white and toss until nuts are well coated. Add spice mix and toss again.

Spread pecans on baking sheet. Bake, stirring every 10 minutes, until pecans appear dry, about 1 hour. Cool completely and store in an airtight container.
