Ingredients
- 1lb beef
- 1/2lb lamb
- onion (red)
- garlic
- Italian seasoning herbs
- salt + pepper
Instructions
- preheat to 350F and boil water
- puree onions
- puree meat
- add seasonings
- cook in loaf pan in ban marie until done
- wrap meat in foil and press under a heavy weight like a big skillet with cans in it
- slice meat and fry in a skillet (or vacuum seal and freeze)
Notes
you can also make these into meatballs. Don’t puree all the meat if so.
I like to make two and freeze the second in a vacuum sealed bag. Thaw, slice, fry in a skillet. If you are going to make this recipe I highly recommend going ahead and making two you will be glad you did.
